Protection with a lighter footprint
Plant-based insect repellent, made in the UK and certified by independent bodies — not by us.
Independently awarded & certified

Insect protection that doesn’t cost the planet
Good insect protection shouldn’t come at the planet’s expense. Since 2009 we’ve built ours around plant-derived PMD instead of DEET.
The botanical actives come from suppliers we audit ourselves, and the packaging is designed to lower its footprint — not just look the part.
And it’s checked by people who don’t work for us: two Queen’s Awards for Sustainable Development, certified B Corporation status, and Sedex membership.
A measured path to net zero
A climate target without a deadline isn’t really a target. Ours has one.
As a member of the SME Climate Hub, we report progress publicly under the UN Race to Zero framework: a 50% cut in emissions by 2030, and net zero by 2050 — measured, disclosed and externally checked.
It shapes the practical decisions: where we manufacture, how we ship, which materials go into our packaging, and which suppliers we keep.
Certified B Corp — re-audited every cycle
B Corp certification is earned, not bought. It assesses how a company treats its workers, customers, suppliers, community and environment — and it expires unless you keep meeting the standard.
For us it confirmed what was already there: plant-based formulas, sugarcane bioplastic packaging in place of fossil plastic, and a UK supply chain that keeps oversight close to home.
Every recertification is a fresh audit, so our impact has to keep up — it doesn’t get to coast on past work.
We pay the real Living Wage
The legal minimum wage isn’t always enough to live on. The Living Wage Foundation calculates a separate figure based on the real cost of housing, food, transport and bills.
We pay it — across every role, shift and contract type, independently accredited.
How a company treats the people who make the product is the simplest test of whether it’s ethical the whole way through.
Verified, not just claimed.
Every claim on this page is signed off by an independent body that doesn’t work for us. That’s the only kind of sustainability statement we’ll publish.
